West African Dancer

Barbara Ceptus
is an educator, activist and dancer from Boston, MA who received her B.A. in Clinical Psychology and American Studies from Tufts University. Recently she has worked as a Public Educator and Co-Facilitator with the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center in which she led workshops for schools and community organizations about the issues of rape and sexual harassment. Since the age of three, Barbara has studied Modern dance, Haitian dance and West African dance. She performs the West African dance piece in "A Long Walk Home: A Story Of A Rape Survivor" entitled "Re-Birth."
